The finishing layer.
Most people skip the backplate. CECELIA changes that calculation. Its star form is a deliberate echo of ASTER from the lighting collection, and because it is raised rather than flush, it catches the light with a subtle sparkle. It also shifts the proportion of a smaller pull, framing it and protecting the joinery from grease and fingerprints.

Our second collaboration with Leanne Kilroy, founder of Good Bones, follows the sell-out UK lighting debut in February with a six-piece cabinetry collection built on the same idea: small-scale, characterful pieces designed to be mixed and layered. In the US, the cabinetry and lighting launch together for the first time.
Leanne, who grew up in New England, says: “The US is a constant source of inspiration for me – it’s where my family is, and New England in particular has shaped how I think about design.”

Hole sizes refined through multiple iterations to cast dramatic, patterned shadows without revealing the bulb.

No detail was too small. Hole sizes were refined through multiple iterations to create dramatic shadows without revealing the bulb, and the polished metals were chosen to complement existing brass, chrome or nickel hardware.
